How do I get started in NOVA?
You’ll start by signing up, completing the intro
flow, creating your avatar, choosing a nickname,
and selecting an apartment preset. After that, NoBo
helps guide you into your new space so you can start
exploring.
Who is NoBo?
NoBo is NOVA’s floating robot helper and your built-in
guide. Think supportive big sib energy: playful,
encouraging, a little punny, and always here to help
you find your footing without making it weird.
What is my avatar in NOVA?
Your avatar is your visual identity across NOVA.
It appears on your profile, in your apartment, and
during voice calls, so it’s a big part of how you
express yourself and how others get to know your
vibe.
What is my apartment?
Your apartment is your home base in NOVA. It’s a
personal space you can decorate, relax in, and use
as the backdrop for one-on-one conversations, self-expression,
and cozy first impressions.
How do I customize my avatar?
Open Avatar Customization to change your hair, face,
clothing, accessories, tattoos, and more. NOVA is
built around identity, so your look is meant to feel
like you—but a little extra sparkly.
How do I customize my apartment?
Go to Apartment Customization to place furniture,
decor, walls, and floors. You can build a space that
feels minimal, maximal, dreamy, futuristic, or delightfully
‘I saw this and immediately said yes.’
What is the Community Hub?
The Community Hub is NOVA’s discovery space. It helps
you explore Interest Groups, find recommended communities
and creators, search what’s happening, and jump into
conversations that match your interests.
What are Interest Groups?
Interest Groups are dedicated community spaces built
around shared passions. NOVA plans to launch with
18 groups, giving users places to connect around
things like beauty, gardening, reading, travel, gaming,
music, pets, and more.
What is the Public Feed?
The Public Feed is the cross-community space where
all NOVA users can discover trending content, platform-wide
activity, and conversations that aren’t limited to
a single Interest Group.
Can I voice chat in NOVA?
Yes. NOVA includes 1:1 voice calling so users can
connect more personally inside the platform. The
goal is to let people choose their pace of connection,
from feed interactions to direct conversation.
What are Daily Tasks?
Daily Tasks are small goals that encourage you to
explore NOVA, use different features, and build consistent
activity. They’re part of how NOVA keeps progress
feeling visible and rewarding.
What are Achievements?
Achievements track your growth across NOVA’s four
pillars: Identity, Community, Connection, and Progression.
As you complete milestone sections, you can earn
badges and eventually unlock special rewards.
What are Engagement Points?
Engagement Points are the base-layer currency you
earn by participating in NOVA. You can get them through
app activity, daily tasks, and achievements, then
use them as part of NOVA’s broader economy.
What are Shop Tokens?
Shop Tokens are standard shop currency created by
converting Engagement Points. They’re used for acquiring
standard items, so they’re great for gradually building
your look and your space.
What are Karma Sparks?
Karma Sparks are collaborative currency earned through
community participation, like taking part in Interest Group
challenges. They’re one of the ingredients used when
alchemizing NOVA Gems.
What are NOVA Gems?
NOVA Gems are NOVA’s premium currency. They can be
purchased with real money or alchemized by combining
Engagement Points and Karma Sparks, and they’re used
for premium shop items and packs.
What’s the difference between Convert, Alchemize, and Purchase?
Convert means exchanging Engagement Points for Shop
Tokens. Alchemize means combining Engagement Points
and Karma Sparks to create NOVA Gems. Purchase means
buying NOVA Gems with USD.
What is Sprout Growth?
Sprout Growth is NOVA’s login reward system. Your
sprout grows as you return to the app, giving you
a gentle visual reminder that your consistency matters
and your little digital garden is thriving.
What happens if I can’t log in?
First, check your connection, make sure the app is
updated, and confirm your email verification is complete.
If you’re still stuck, contact Support with your
nickname, device model, OS version, and login details
so the team can investigate.
How do I report a bug?
Please share what you were doing, what you expected,
what actually happened, and when it happened. Screenshots
or video help a lot too, along with your device model
and OS version.
I was charged but didn’t receive my NOVA Gems.
Please contact Support and include your purchase
receipt screenshot so the team can verify the order
and investigate. Once it’s confirmed, they can guide
you through the next steps.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds depend on the situation and platform policy.
If there was a billing issue or you didn’t receive
what you purchased, contact Support with your receipt
so the team can review it properly.
How do I report harassment or inappropriate behavior?
Please submit a Support ticket with the nickname(s)
involved, what happened, and any screenshots or screen
recordings you have. NOVA takes community safety
